Carbon Steel
Tough, shock-resistant, and durable. Carbon steel has <2% carbon and comes in three types: low carbon (mild) steel, medium carbon steel, and high carbon steel.
Carbon steel has an impact on many areas and is commonly used for:
- Low carbon steel (mild carbon steel): To build structures.
- The relevant standard for low carbon steel fabrication is ASTM A36.
- Medium carbon steel: To make gear and machinery parts.
- The relevant standard for medium carbon steel fabrication is ASTM A516 Gr.70.
- High carbon steel: To create cutting tools and fasteners.
- The relevant standard for high carbon steel fabrication is ASTM A109.
Stainless Steel
With at least 10.5% chromium, stainless steel resists corrosion and rust well. It is clean and easy to sanitize – which is ideal for the manufacturing of medical equipment and food processing gear. The different grades that we work with are:
- 304 Stainless Steel: The most common grade used for general purpose applications such as kitchen equipment, appliances, and automotive parts.
- 316 Stainless Steel: Contains a higher amount of chromium and is more resistant to corrosion than 304 stainless steel. It is commonly used in marine environments.
Aluminum
This lightweight, non-magnetic metal is highly malleable and an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. Aluminum material is an excellent choice for electrical systems, enclosures, frames, and heat exchangers. Common aluminum alloys we work with are:

Laser Cutting
Our powerful laser cutting machines cut with minimal burrs through metal of different thicknesses. This method helps create complex shapes and designs while minimizing waste. The typical precision levels and tolerances we can achieve are +/- 0.005 inches. This process is perfect for creating parts with intricate designs and tight tolerances.
Bending & Forming
We use press brakes to bend and shape metal sheets into U, V, or custom forms. The repeatability of our tools ensures that tolerances are held from small to large production runs. The tolerances that can be achieved by our press brakes are typically +/- 0.010 inches. This includes sheet metal forming, tube bending, and structural steel applications.
Welding
Our skilled welders join metal parts using MIG, TIG, and spot welding techniques. We conform to the American Welding Society (AWS) to ensure each weld is tough and dependable.
CNC Turret Press Cutting
The CNC turret presses we employ cut metal using a punching and die process. It is suitable for creating holes, knockouts, and other custom shapes in sheet metal parts.

- Manual vs Automated – Our team can use handheld tools or automated machinery depending on the needs of the project. We also have a variety of deburring and grinding equipment to handle different sizes and types of metal.
- Abrasive vs Non-Abrasive – Our team uses various abrasives such as sandpaper, grinding wheels, wire brushes, etc., to remove material from the edges or surface of a metal part. We also use non-abrasive methods such as manual filing and chemical deburring for more delicate parts.
